FAQS
Where are lessons held?
In-person dance lessons are offered in Denver: 520 Cherokee Street, Denver, CO 80204
Virtual dance lessons are held in our Online Studio via Zoom.
When should we begin Wedding Dance Lessons?
We recommend starting dance lessons 3-4 months prior to your event. This helps to keep the choreography fresh in your mind and body! It also gives us a lot of scheduling flexibility.
Some couples enjoy beginning their lessons even sooner than 3-4 months so they can learn additional dance styles/vibes other than their first dance.
PLEASE NOTE: March through September is the height of our peak season and evening/weekend time slots fill fast!

NOTE: March through September is our peak season, so be sure to schedule your lessons 3-4 months in advance of your wedding to ensure you get your ideal dates/times.
What is the investment?
PRIVATE DANCE LESSONS
10 Private Package – $1797 (per couple)
5 Private Package – $997 (per couple)
1 Private Lesson – $333 (per couple)
All lessons are 55 minutes and totally private - meaning it’s just you and your instructor on the dance floor. (No sharing the floor with other couples like many other ballroom studios do)
MUSIC EDITING
Music Editing (up to 5 songs + 2 revisions) - $555
Music Editing (1-2 songs + 2 revisions) - $333
You send us a list of the songs you want, in the order you want them and we will create the perfect mix! This is a great option for those couples looking to spice things up for their first dance (or if you can’t decide on just one song!)
What is the length of a lesson?
Private lessons are 55 minutes. Although, depending on the complexity of the routine and the wedding date, we may recommend booking 2 lessons in a row. This is a great way to get a lot of choreography completed in one session and helps alleviate some last minute scheduling stress. This works well for many couples!
What styles of dance do you teach?
We pride ourselves on being dance experts and we want to bring your vision to life!
We listen to your music and determine what style of dance would work best with the music’s tempo/style and your skill level. Often times we don’t limit ourselves to just one style and have fun playing with multiple styles within the same song.
Here are some examples of dances we often teach but the possibilities are endless: Waltz, Foxtrot, Swing, Salsa, Rumba, Tango, Country Two Step, Country Swing, Nightclub Two Step, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Cabaret Jazz.
What clothing do you recommend for lessons?
Wear something that you feel comfortable moving in! Our instructors usually wear dance/work-out clothes but feel free to wear whatever you desire. Some brides enjoy wearing a skirt that mimics the flow of their dress.
It’s also a great idea to bring your wedding shoes to practice in! This will give you added confidence on the big day.
What should I bring?
Please remember to bring the following to your lessons:
Your music, downloaded and available on an unlock-able phone or device that we can plug into our sound system
Device (phone, tablet, etc.) to take video at the end of each lesson. It’s helpful to have a video to practice with at home.
Your wedding shoes if you want to practice in those (highly recommended!).
Who will be my instructor?
Wedding Dance Coach has a small staff of professionally trained instructors. Our instructors are not only trained in various ballroom styles, but they have diverse dance backgrounds in hip hop, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, tap and ballet.
Your talented instructor will bring your vision to life and help you SHINE on your big day. Our encouraging and warm studio environment helps you to feel relaxed and ready to dance.
Do you work with same-sex couples?
YES! We are an equal rights vendor. We value diversity and cater to same-sex couples as well as heterosexual couples of all backgrounds, traditions, creeds, and cultures. All love is celebrated here.
