Featured Couple: Ryan & Eryn Coufal

Ryan and Erin Coufal learned a mash-up of dances including fox-trot and cha-cha for their wedding on September 13, 2014 in Lake Topaz, CA. We spiced things up with some fun dips and turns to wow their guests and to match their fun and outgoing personalities. Even though Ryan and Erin started their summer work days by 5am, they were troopers during our late-evening dance lessons, always staying positive and playful. The result of their hard work was a fun, memorable, unique first dance infused with their personalities! They even got their wedding party involved! Check out their video and get to know this fine couple below…

How did you meet the love of your life (in 5 sentences or less)?

We met in Physical Therapy school where we began as Study Buddies. Our time together quickly turned into a life long relationship!

What was your first dance song and why did you pick it?

“Something I need” by One Republic. We chose this song because it was an upbeat song that represented our energy. The words of the song represent a love that you never found before, and to us this was meaningful!

Why did you choose to take wedding dance lessons?

Well first off, because we don’t know how to dance! We love adventures and trying new things and always wanted to try dance lessons together.

Would you recommend wedding dance lessons?

Yes, we would highly recommend dance lessons! We have already referred a few of our friends as we enjoyed our experience!

What was your favorite moment at your wedding?

The Dancing! We truly believe that our first dance set the tempo for the soon to follow dance party that literally did not stop. We ended up paying our DJ to stay an extra hour because our guests didn’t want to stop dancing!

Hindsight is 50/50. What advice would you give to a couple that is in the beginning stages of wedding planning?

Don’t let it become stressful. This is an adventure for both of you, live in the moment and enjoy it.
