Featured Client: Kristy Kilgore & Joe Sledge – Party Rock First Dance

Calling all MJ and LMFAO fans!  Meet Kristy Kilgore and Joe Sledge… their first dance was a combination of two upbeat party songs we know you will recognize.  No slow dancing for them!  Not only did they have fun impressing their guests with their new moves… but they got their guests involved in the dance.  Don’t believe me?  Well, you will just have to check out the video below.  What a great way to get the party started!  Kristy and Joe performed their unique first dance on August 25th, 2012 at the beautiful McC Ranch in Loveland, Colorado.  Cheers to Kristy and Joe… may you have fun and laughter on the dance floor for many years to come!

How did you meet the love of your life (in 5 sentences or less)?

Mutual friend decided to play match maker- the rest is history!

What was your first dance song and why did you pick it?

A compilation song starting with Michael Jackson’s PYT that ends with Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO- we wanted something different and light hearted that would set the tone for the evening.  No stuffy slow dances for us!  We wanted to get the crowd up and moving.  Plus I (Kristy) have always loved MJ.

Why did you choose to take wedding dance lessons?

We knew we wanted to shock those that came with some awesome dance moves and there was no way we could choreograph that on our own so we started the hunt for a personal dance instructor.

Would you recommend wedding dance lessons?

Absolutely!  It was really fun, Elizabeth made the moves easy for us to remember,  plus it was a great bonding experience for me and the hubby during the wedding planning.  Putting together a wedding can be stressful- having a fun experience every few weeks leading up the the wedding was a nice breathe of fresh air for both of us.

What was your favorite moment at your wedding?

Definitely the first dance.  Everyone raved about it and still does to this day!
