How Many Lessons Do We Really Need?

Zero doubt you want to feel confident on the wedding dance floor and look your absolute best.

You know you want private dance lessons to get you there fast but then the question comes... How many lessons do you really need?

As with most things, how many lessons you need depends on your goals as a couple:

  • Do you just want the basics or something more choreographed to the music?

  • How many dances do you want to work on in your lessons? First Dance, Father-Daughter, Mother-Son etc.

  • What's your prior dance experience as a couple? Have you ever done partner dancing or just freestyle in the club together? (lol)

Here's a MINI GUIDE to help you determine how many lessons you need.

GOAL: Looking for an intricately choreographed routine (for example mashups or Dirty Dancing) OR seeking to do MULTIPLE DANCES, including the Father-Daughter, Mother-Son or Wedding Party Choreography etc.

RECOMMENDATION: 10 Lessons - Wedding Dance VIP Package

GOAL: Keep it “simple, yet impressive” so that you can kiss your awkward & boring 2 left feet goodbye, and step boldly and confidently into the spotlight. This couple wants simple choreography to ONE song.

RECOMMENDATION: 5 Lessons - Anti-Middle School Dance Package

GOAL: a few basics to uplevel your sway like how to hold your frame for pics and some simple turns or dips (so you don't bore your guests to tears).

RECOMMENDATION: Private dance lessons a la carte. Most couples who are short on time do a 2 hour crash course and are amazed by what we can accomplish in such a short time together!

PS: Here's what Amanda had to say after her recent virtual lesson...

"Wedding Dance Coach's virtual lesson was such a surprise. My fiance and I had an excellent time and feel much better prepared for our wedding! It was awesome to still have the opportunity to learn how to dance while in quarantine from testing positive 2 weeks before our wedding! PJ was excellent and we highly recommend Wedding Dance Coach!"
